English Town Turns Off Traffic Lights: Civility Ensues

No joke. See it here. As it turns out, we do not live an Hobbesian world of dog-eat-dog, but in a world where, when given the chance, people will be civil to each other. This is a great first step towards freeing the roads from government. Perhaps we could apply the lessons learned from this town to the New York Thruway Authority, which has done a horrible job of regulating traffic.
